82Wave Records는 2026년 서울에서 시작한 AI 음악 레이블입니다. 우리가 남들과 다른 점은 기술이 아니라 순서입니다.82Wave Records is an AI music label founded in Seoul in 2026. What sets us apart is not the technology but the order of things.

노래는 누군가의 문장이 되어 남을 때 완성됩니다.A song is finished only when it becomes someone's sentence.

우리는 오랫동안 음악이 만들어지는 방식을 지켜봤습니다. 대개 비트가 먼저 있고, 멜로디가 그 위에 얹히고, 가사는 마지막에 빈 자리를 채우러 옵니다. 그 순서에서 가사는 자주 장식이 됩니다. 발음이 좋고 리듬에 맞는 단어가, 정말 하고 싶은 말을 밀어냅니다.

82Wave는 그 순서를 뒤집었습니다. 먼저 말할 것을 정합니다. 문장을 쓰고, 다듬고, 이 문장이 정말 누군가에게 필요한지 오래 묻습니다. 가사가 확정된 뒤에야 우리는 그 문장이 어떤 온도의 소리를 원하는지, 어떤 속도로 걸어야 하는지, 목소리가 얼마나 가까이 있어야 하는지를 듣습니다. 음악은 그 대답입니다.

AI는 우리에게 그 대답을 여러 번 들어볼 수 있게 해 주는 도구입니다. 같은 문장에 열 가지 소리를 입혀 보고, 문장이 가장 선명하게 들리는 것을 고릅니다. 기술이 주인공이 아닙니다. 기술 덕분에 문장이 더 좋은 자리를 얻을 뿐입니다.

We watched for a long time how music gets made. Usually the beat comes first, a melody is laid over it, and the lyric arrives last to fill the empty space. In that order the words often become decoration. Syllables that sing well push out the thing you actually wanted to say.

82Wave reversed the order. We decide what to say first. We write the sentence, refine it, and ask for a long time whether anyone truly needs it. Only after the lyric is fixed do we listen for the temperature of sound it wants, the pace it should walk at, how close the voice should stand. The music is the answer.

AI is the tool that lets us hear that answer many times over. We dress the same sentence in ten different sounds and keep the one in which the sentence is heard most clearly. The technology is not the protagonist. It simply gives the sentence a better place to live.

"Were you alright all night?" It comes from the same everyday place as Oha's name. And one more letter: 새, a bird. A night bird that knows its direction in the dark. Bamsae writes both the words and the music of her songs.

밤새는 혼자 시작해서 우리로 끝납니다. 밤새의 가사에서 '나'는 길을 잃고 숨이 차고 심장이 뛰지만, 후렴에 이르러 항상 '우리'가 됩니다. 그것이 밤새가 청춘을 바라보는 방식입니다 — 혼자서는 길을 잃지만, 같이 있으면 길을 잃은 것도 가는 중이 됩니다.

밤새의 노래는 밝습니다. 그러나 그 밝음은 위로가 아니라 약속입니다. "다 함께 빛나리"는 빛날 것이라는 예언이 아니라 빛나자는 결심입니다. 밤새는 그 결심을 조금 낡은 말로 합니다 — 약속은 오래된 말로 해야 지켜질 것 같아서.

82Wave가 밤새를 두 번째 아티스트로 세운 이유는 오하와 짝이 되기 때문입니다. 하루가 있으므로 밤이 있고, '나'가 있으므로 '우리'가 있습니다. 두 목소리가 한 레이블의 하루를 완성합니다.

Bamsae's songs begin after sunset: a city where you can't see the stars, the signs that light up instead, the people walking beneath them. Some call neon a fake light. Bamsae remembers the real stories that happened under it — clumsy confessions, one drop of tears behind an awkward smile, nights of reaching for each other's hands in a world moving too fast to breathe.

Bamsae starts alone and ends as 'we'. In her lyrics, 'I' gets lost, runs out of breath, feels the heart pound — but by the chorus it is always 'we'. That is how Bamsae looks at youth: alone, you lose your way; together, being lost becomes being on your way.

Her songs are bright, but the brightness is not comfort — it is a promise. "Let them all shine together" is not a prophecy that we will, but a resolve that we shall. She says it in slightly old-fashioned words, because a promise seems more keepable that way.

82Wave chose Bamsae as its second artist because she is Oha's counterpart: where there is a day there is a night, where there is an 'I' there is a 'we'. Two voices complete one label's day.

"오늘하루"를 줄인 이름입니다. 거창한 단어가 아니라 우리가 매일 아무 생각 없이 쓰는 말 — "오늘 하루 어땠어?" — 에서 왔습니다. 그래서 이 이름은 이미 누군가의 입에 있는 문장입니다. 오하는 자기 노래의 가사와 음악을 모두 직접 씁니다.Her name is short for 오늘하루 — "today, this one day." Not a grand word, but one we say every day without thinking: "how was your day?" So the name is already a sentence in someone's mouth. Oha writes both the words and the music of her songs.

Nothing large happens in Oha's songs. Nobody leaves for good, the world does not end, fate does not turn. What Oha sings are the days when nothing seems to have happened at all: the day your face in the window looked a little stranger than yesterday; the day a friend's passing joke stayed with you for no reason; the day someone said "it's okay" and you found yourself in tears. Oha gathers those days instead of discarding them — and inside them, quietly, lets you know that a day was already enough.

Oha does not try to fix youth. The clumsiness, the things left unsaid, the belief that only went a little way — she accepts them as they were, and praises those years. This is why her songs, though never bright, are hymns: not insisting that it was good, but admitting that even clumsy, it was.

Oha makes songs for empathy. She wants to hand the listener one sentence: "so it wasn't only me." That is why her lyrics carry no names, why the places could be any neighbourhood, why "you" could be anyone. Leaving room for the listener's own day is her method.

Oha never speaks loudly. Feelings are always said one notch lower than they are — "I can believe, a little"; "I hated myself, a little." That "a little" is her sincerity. Because she says so little, one line of hers slips into a listener's day and stays.
